Archives of Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan
“Kadayawan” a known festival that is celebrated in Davao City every 3rd week of August once again, successfully celebrated the “Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan 2015”. This is the 30th Kadayawan celebration of Davao City as part of its annual celebration. The event was attended by 16 contingents from different schools, community and nearby regions in Davao City. The festival represents different tribes, stories, traditions and a bountiful harvest while performing street dance along designated streets in Davao City.
Indak-Indak means:
A competitions of choreographed and and theatrical dance narratives inspired by Mindanao indigenous tradition, epic stories, myths, legends and important cultural events of representation of festival celebrations of the islands performed in the major streets of Davao City.
